A year ago our old pal Jose Reyes made the decision to spend the following six years in sunny South Beach instead of the concrete jungles of New York City. Well, now he might be headed to cold and snowy Toronto.
ESPN.com is reporting Thursday evening that Reyes will be the latest salary dump by the Marlins, being sent to the Blue Jays along with similarly high-priced Josh Johnson and Mark Buehrle for a bunch of prospects.
This is why Albert Pujols refused to sign with Miami without a no trade clause. Smart man.
How does that decision look now to leave the Mets, Jose?
