Video: Mets Opening Day Blues

Monday is Opening Day, and it is really hard to find a Mets fan who is optimistic about the 2014 season. Let’s hope it is not as bad as this:

Of course, we’ve all seen that clip before (in fact, I posted it the day after it aired back in 2010), but it never stops being funny.

The good news is that the Mets always seem to win on Opening Day; their all-time record is 34-18. Their .654 Opening Day winning percentage is the best in all of baseball. So you can probably hang onto your hat until game two!
