Stunner: David Wright NOT All-Star Starter

In a stunner, genius baseball fans have NOT voted David Wright as the starter at third base for the National League All -Star team. Pablo Sandoval overtook him in the final week of voting to get the nod.

Sandoval is hitting .307, but played in only 44 games this season because of injury. In contrast, Wright is hitting .355 and has played in 75 games.

Fans often make mistakes, but they usually get most things right. This is one of the worst mistakes I can remember.

Wright is sure to make the team as a backup, but still, this is ridiculous.
