Video: Travis d’Arnaud Homer

Here is video of newest Mets savior Travis d’Arnaud hitting a home run in Spring Training of 2012, who came over to the Mets in the big R.A. Dickey trade. Note the batting stance — he has a high leg kick that can help generate power. Many batters also use such leg kicks as timing mechanisms, which could also be a problem if an adjustment is needed after being fooled on a pitch. Hopefully the Mets will not try to change Travis d’Arnaud; everything he is doing seems to be working.
