Maddux, Glavine, Thomas Elected to Hall of Fame

Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine and Frank Thomas have been elected to the Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility, it was announced Wednesday. Craig Biggio finished just 0.2% short of the 75% needed for induction.

Mike Piazza also fell short, continuing to be victimized by unfounded PED rumors.

Maddux was named on 97% of the ballots, while Glavine got 91% of the vote and Thomas 83%.
