David Wright Out for Season with Shoulder Issue

Immediately after Tuesday night’s win against the Rockies, the Mets announced that david Wright will miss the rest of the season because of a rotator cuff issue in his left shoulder.

The Mets tweeted a news release.

So the worst season of David Wright’s career has come to an end. He hit .269, the second worst of his career, along with a career low eight home runs and 63 RBIs.
