Photos: Work Begins on Citi Field Walls

Perhaps to beat the winter weather or maybe to make fans happy in the off-season, the Mets have already begun work on moving in the Citi Field walls in right field.

The team released photos on Twitter Wednesday of the early work, with the simple caption “work has begun.” It is not exactly clear how far the Citi Field walls will be moved in, but it looks like the walls will be straighter, getting rid of those annoying nooks. This is probably the most telling photo.
