Noah Syndergaard to Disabled List
The Mets have placed Noah Syndergaard on the 10-day disabled list with a strained index finger on his pitching hand. The Mets DL is starting to look better than the active roster.
Syndergaard was complaining of soreness in his finger. After an exam on Tuesday, doctors diagnosed the strain and the Mets made the decision to disable him. He joins Yoenis Cespedes, Todd Frazier and many other on the shelf.
The Mets just can’t catch a break. Now they only have one reliable starting pitcher in the rotation — Jacob deGrom. And the Mets for some reason refuse to score runs for him. This is looking like it is going to be a long season.
