The IBWAA on Thursday named Bryce Harper and Shohei Ohtani the MVPs of their respective leagues.
The NL race was extremely close. Harper received 583 points, just getting by Fernando Tatis, Jr.(562 points) and Juan Soto (550 points). I voted for those three as well, except I had Tatis and Soto flipped.
The AL vote was surprisingly close as well. Ohtani got 685 points to 623 for Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. I thought Ohtani would run away with it. Marcus Semien was third with 461 points. That was my vote as well.
