Baseball America released its top 10 prospects for every team on Wednesday. Noah Syndergaard topped the Mets list; no shock there. But number seven might be a bit of a surprise — Michael Conforto.
Conforto was just drafted this past season and his professional career has spanned only 42 games. But he hit .331 in those games and is already being mentioned as a Mets outfielder of the not-too-distant future.
