Sandy Alderson Gets New Contract

The Mets announced late Wednesday night that they have signed Sandy Alderson to an extension to continue his bang-up job as Mets general manager.

“I’m excited that Sandy will continue to lead the organization,” Jeff Wilpon said in a statement.

That makes one person, at least.

“I feel that we have some unfinished business,” Alderson said. “Spring training is around the corner, and our quest to return to the postseason will continue.”

So Sandy Alderson’s reign of terror will continue. And so will the frustration for Mets fans.
