The Internet Baseball Writers Association of America (IBWAA) on Sunday named Josh Hader and Edwin Diaz the top relievers in their respective leagues.
Hader was the easy winner in the National League, collecting 326 points. Kenley Jansen was second with 162 points and Jeremy Jeffress was third with 148 points. I voted for the first two, with Felipe Vasquez third.
It was much closer over in the American League, with Diaz just getting past second place finisher Blake Treinen 465-458. Kimbrel was third with 128 points. That was the order of my vote as well.
Check back all week as the IBWAA announces all of its postseason awards winners. Who cares about that other writers group?!
