Ike Davis Signs for $3.125 Million
A day after exchanging arbitration figures, Ike Davis has reportedly settled with the Mets. He will get $3.125 million in 2013.
ESPNNewYork.com quotes that mysterious “baseball source” in reporting the news on Saturday.
Ike Davis had asked for $3.7 million with the team countering with $2.825 million. He made $506,690 last season.
Daniel Murphy is the only remaining arbitration-eligible player on the Mets. He should also end up at around $3 million. The team settled with Bobby Parnell earlier in the week at $1.7 million.
