David Ortiz Elected to Hall of Fame
Baseball writers have deemed just one player worthy of the Hall of Fame this year — David Ortiz — it was announced Tuesday night. He received just shy of 78% of the vote.
In their last year on the ballot, Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens received 66% and 65% respectively. Scott Rolen got 63% and idiot Curt Schilling, also in his final year, got 58%. In his first year, Alex Rodriguez received just 34% of the vote.
