Trade Matt Harvey?! “The Phil Naessens Show”
On this week’s edition of “The Phil Naessens Show,” Phil proposes that the Mets trade — wait for it — Matt Harvey! Phil says Harvey’s latest behavior makes him a “diva” who is a detriment to the team. I think Phil is out of his mind. Then again, he was right about trading Ike Davis two years ago. Maybe he is right again?
Phil and I also make our predictions for the 2014 Mets. Preview: it is not pretty.

Yep….and it’s only going to get worse before it ever gets better and if the kid lasts until he becomes a FA he’s going to leave for the Bronx….why put up with his BS until then.
I don’t think he needs to go, I just think he needs to grow up a little.
However, to give him the benefit of the doubt, we do know how the press likes to create controversy where none previously existed. Instead of reporting news, they like to create news, so perhaps much of what has been said is really out of proportion, thus the Mets not wanting Harvey to trust the press and speak to them alone.
