Martinez, Johnson, Smoltz, Biggio Elected to Hall of Fame
Former Met Pedro Martinez, Randy Johnson, Craig Biggio and John Smoltz were elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame, it was announced a few moments ago. The writers continue to snub Mike Piazza based on unsubstantiated rumors of PED use.
Johnson received 97% of the vote, with Martinez at 91%. Smoltz got 82% while Biggio got 82%.
It is the first time four players have been voted in in 60 years.
