IBWAA Names Williams, Showalter Top Managers

Continuing its awards week, the Internet Baseball Writers Association of America (IBWAA) Tuesday named Matt Williams and Buck Showalter Managers of the Year in their respective leagues.

Williams topped Clint Hurdle and Bruce Bochy for the National League honors. I voted for Williams, Hurdle and Don Mattingly in that order.

Over in the American League, Showalter beat out Mike Scioscia and Ned Yost. I voted for all three, but had Scioscia and Yost flipped for second and third.
