Video: Terry Collins Gives Update on Neil Walker

Terry Collins gave an update before Wednesday’s game on Neil Walker, who has been diagnosed with a herniated disk. While doctors say Walker can play through the pain, it is also causing weakness in one of his legs, which is obviously a problem.

If Walker is able to come back, he likely will not be able play every day; he will need time off every couple of games to rest.

This is a big blow — Neil Walker was red-hot before getting injured and was expected to play a major role in the push towards October.
