Mets Lose… Zzz
Well, that was a crummy game. Mike Pelfrey gave up three runs in the first inning of Friday night’s game against the Rangers, and that was basically it. There was a game for the next two and a half hours, but damned if I can remember any of it. I do know they lost 8-1.
The Mets did nothing, managing just eight hits and the one run against Rangers pitching. The only highlight was three hits by Jason Bay. They were all singles, so his season-long power outage continues.
This wasn’t taken during last night’s game, but the sentiment is the same
Other than that, unless you like watching Manny Acosta getting roughed-up (four runs in 1.2 innings), this game had nothing worth seeing. I don’t even know why I bothered writing this.
