Mets Come to Terms with Harvey, Tejada, Relievers
The Mets on Friday came to terms with several players, including Matt Harvey, avoiding arbitration hearings.
Harvey will get $4.325 million in 2016, still a bargain for the Mets. Ruben Tejada gets $3 million — not a bargain at all.
The Mets also agreed to salaries with nearly half of their bullpen. Addison Reed agreed to $5.3 million, Carlos Torres gets $1.05 and Josh Edgin, who missed all of last season after Tommy John surgery, settled for $625,000.
This leaves Lucas Duda, Neil Walker, Jeurys Familia and Jenrry Mejia, who will miss the first half of the season to serve his idiotic PED suspension, still in arbitration limbo.
