Report: Mariners to Sign Corey Hart; Ike Davis Deal Next?

Jon Heyman of CBS Sports tweeted Wednesday afternoon that Corey Hart will sign with the Mariners. This could clear the way for the Mets to trade Ike Davis to the Brewers.

The Brewers have reportedly had interest in Davis all off-season, but their first priority was to re-sign Hart, a slugger who missed all of 2013 following knee surgery. But now that Corey Hart is apparently gone, the Brewers might turn to Davis.

Expect this deal to happen very soon, perhaps as early as today. Hopefully I can get done writing this post before it goes down!
