Reyes, Beltran All Stars

The Mets will have two representatives at the All Star game next week — Jose Reyes and Carlos Beltran.

Reyes had a late surge to overtake Troy Tulowitzki to win the fan vote as the starter. Hopefully this hamstring thing will not stop him from appearing in the game.

And in a pleasant surprise, Beltran was selected by manager Bruce Bochy as a reserve. Beltran is having a solid season but I didn’t think he would make the team.
