Mets Unveil Alternate Jersey

The Mets on Wednesday unveiled their alternate jersey for 2013, and as expected it is the blue one that everybody seems to love.

The blue Mets jersey made its first appearance in 2011 and blew everyone away. It was apparently too late to add it to the 2012 regular rotation, so the Mets had to wait until 2013.

Hopefully this spells the end of the awful black jerseys. The Mets only wore them once last season, in honor of John Franco Day. Let’s hope we never see them again.
