Jason Bay Not Returning Tuesday After All

Jason Bay can’t catch a break, but he apparently can catch a cold or something; his return from the disabled list is delayed because he is sick.

Bay was supposed to be in the lineup on Tuesday in Washington, but he missed his final rehab game Monday night because of an undisclosed illness, so his return to the big leagues will have to wait.

Bay has been on the DL since fracturing a rib while making  attempting to make a catch on April 24.

In other injury news, shortstop Miguel Tejada started a rehab assignment on Monday and is expected back Friday.

And Cliff Floyd and Moises Alou are still on the DL.
